Singer Luke Pritchard said he hoped for the glut of singles on the Kooks' second album to "come on the radio and for people to literally have their heads blown off by them." Literally? Sorry, Luke, there's loads of good singles (better ones, like "Mr. Maker," know that handclaps go further than distortion pedals in pop songs), but few are as head-blowing-off-able as "Naive."
