Si Me Puedo Quedar
No Molestar sounds like it could have been produced either in 2008 or (in some cases) 1968. That, in our estimation, is a good thing. Solis has become an expert at tapping the Mexican penchant for nostalgia and romance, and he does it with both his lyrics -- which traffic in unadorned emotion -- and his instrumentation, which subtly echoes mariachi, bolero, cumbia and contemporary pop while rarely diving fully into any of them. Solis may not be for everyone, but if you're a fan, this album is designed to slide easily into your life, and it will.
